Information requested in the bug report form

• Operating system and architecture (required): paste the output of the command below.
• SIDEY version (required): find it using the instructions below.
• What happened (required): describe the problem clearly; sanitized logs, screenshots, or a video can help.
• Steps to reproduce (required): explain the actions that lead to the problem, in order.
• Expected behavior (optional): explain what should have happened.
• Additional information (optional): include any other relevant context.

Finding your version and diagnostic logs

Operating system information

macOS (Terminal)

macOS: In Finder, right-click SIDEY.app and choose Get Info (⌘I).

Windows: Open Settings → About → Updates.

macOS: The command below saves the last 30 minutes of SIDEY logs to a file on your Desktop.

log show --last 30m --style compact --predicate 'subsystem == "app.sidey.desktop"' > ~/Desktop/SIDEY-Diagnostics-$(date +%Y%m%d-%H%M%S).log

Windows: Open Settings → About → Export diagnostics. The log files are saved to your Desktop. For an installation problem, include the diagnostic data shown by the installer.

Keep sensitive information private

GitHub issues are public. Remove invite codes, message contents, sign-in or authentication tokens, passwords, full payment-card numbers, and personal information from text, logs, screenshots, and videos. Do not send these secrets by email either; we will ask for specific non-sensitive details if needed.
